I really wanted to give this kit a 5 star and maybe I'm just being picky but one strap on the knee saver was sown in backwards so you cant get it snug on your leg and its a little annoying with it being loose. That aside the sticks bite great and cant be beat but ditch the cam buckles for a daisy chain, the onyx platform is amazing for all day sits and is easy to move around on for shots without worrying about slipping, but its very noisy when closing. I used stealth strips to make closing the platform a little quieter and on the cam buckle so it isnt loud when it smacks the platform. The saddle itself is stupid comfortable but i personally wish they'd offer a fully adjustable amsteel bridge as an option with this kit. I dont like a open bridge but that comes down to personal preference. All in all I'm happy with this kit and after a few changes to fit my personal preference i think this will be my go to saddle setup for a while. I think having more options available to add to these kits would improve the customer experience tremendously instead of having to buy a cookie cutter kit then buy these upgrades separately when they could be options with upcharges and save the customers time scavenging the site for upgrades such as an adjustable am steel bridge and daisy chains for sticks. A few small changes can change the entire customer experience for the better.
Light enough but big enough for all my needs. Southern WV mountains are insane, so being able to pack everything in and hopefully even more out with just one pack is a must.
I have had absolutely no issues and it’s very comfortable. This kit has changed the game for me. It’s safer and the weight difference from what I’m used to is huge. It was delivered quick and found no faults in the kit. Personal opinion the platform is great but needed to be a darker color so I painted it. Would highly recommend perfect for all day sits
