I have Went through several back packs that I trued To save a dollar or two and still ended up buying the sumpter and finally happy I got this pack! Soon as I got It in I put all my Trophyline saddle and platform along with all my carry gear in pack and it sits perfect all together!, one backpack to grab up out of truck and get in the woods! Can not wait for fall now!
I can’t say enough good about this pack, I purchased it shortly after I started getting into saddle hunting and I never thought a pack could be so versatile. It easily holds all of my equipment along with extra layers for colder weather. It also packs meat well with the integrated meat fly, carrying this pack over a mile completely loaded is very comfortable. Highly recommend considering it if you are a mobile hunter.
This thing is pretty neat for saddle hunting. Wish it had more compartments instead of one big empty one. The platform pocket is big and I don't like the hook to keep it shut. Very frustrating. But for $60 bucks on sale it will do everything you need.
I wanted to start onesticking and decided to get a wingman and modify it myself. This stick platform makes a great onestick and if Trophyline would make an option with a cam cleat and onestick rope they would have one of the top onesticks on the market.
I love it. I have big feet and I have more than enough room on this platform. Its a really great platform.
