I finally got out yesterday to do some scouting. Grabbed my new pack and headed out on some new terrain. After an hour or so I got to thinking I should of brought that new pack….DUH I had it on and didn’t realize it. At 79 and the comfort of the Platow Pack I guess I just spaced it out. You people have a winner there. I love it and it’s perfect for saddle hunting. Can’t Thank You enough.
Well made, good embroidery and stitching, and sizes ranges seem spot on.
While the Trophyline Pocket Pull Up Rope may not have mechanical retraction of the hoist line, there is also no mechanism to break, which is always a plus in backcountry hunting. The silicon reel is extremely durable, and features lips on the edge of the reel which not only simply control how the line plays out while you ascend---but also make it easy to wind the line back in once you've brought your bow and/or equipment up. I've attached mine to a round HMS carabiner, attached to a Molle loop on my saddle via a cobra-knotted paracord length, and it allows the reel of the Pull Up Rope to wheel very easily. There are a variety of other creative ways that could be applied to the same effect. Very happy with this, and would recommend it over any of the spring/mechanical retrieval options out there.
