I use this pack to carry a Panther Ultralight Quickclimber and it works well for that purpose. I like that it has many compartments to keep my gear separated. It even has a hook for your car keys. It has two small zippered mesh pouches in one compartment which is great for small items like spare batteries, an ink pen, tags, and other odds and ends you don't want to have to dig to find. There are a couple of external loops on the bottom of the pack that were probably designed for climbing sticks that I use to carry a jacket in the event it is colder than I expected. I did not see any laundry instructions so I took a chance and put it through a quick wash with my hunting clothes. I then let it dry overnight. It survived well and the laundering took away the "new" smell and maybe softened it just a little. Very happy with my purchase!

I've been on the platform a few times hunting now, It is a great option for people with bigger feet, that want a little more foot placement options as well as maneuverability while in the tree. The only complaint would be not have a strap or way for the post to snap into the platform when folded up. If pairing it with stick (which I went with the TL mini-sticks) its not a big deal until you're climbing with just the platform attached to your saddle. It is definitely not a deal breaker and a simple cord or small equipment strap/bungee fixes. I really like the thought into having the mini-sticks fitting on the platform! Highly recommend
