The Sling Pack

I really like the sling pack but found the strap to be far too long for my medium size frame. Sometimes it pays to be handy, I popped the stitches, removed the binding and cut a few inches off the strap, rebound it and sewed it back up. Now it’s been a regular hunting companion of mine and holds everything I need for a half day hunt including a lightweight down jacket just in case I need it. I also removed the cell phone holder from the outside as it didn’t fit my phone or rangefinder and was just kinda awkward, if you’re careful in removal you can hardly notice it was ever there.

Let me start off with I have been looking at the Sling Pack for a couple years now as a lite season solution. Now that I have it in my possession, I wish I would have pulled the trigger sooner. As I transition to a lighter more mobile hunting style this new pack is going to be a great asset to the hunting arsenal. I do wish the outer fabric was made of quieter material.

Pack does everything i need it to do.

The strap is ridiculously too long, overall quality is good
