Bought one for myself then one for my son after I used mine. Walking in almost feels like nothing is on my back. I really like how most of the weight sits on your hips and not your shoulders. Everything is super accessible. My only complaint is I wish it had atleast one zippered storage pocket on the waistband where the molle straps are.
Love these sticks. Packability is insanely tight. Took me a little bit to figure out the storing approach for the daisy chains, but now that I’ve figured it out they are easy to store and easy to hang.
I was late to the saddle game because of the fact all my buddies were constantly buying more amd more stuff cause they didnt like what they had so I decided I would just try everything they all had and make my own decision. Well this was best decision I made this pack is light wait and the way any kind of sticks and platform attach to it is perfect and slim line

The bag is nice, zippers are quiet and olent of space to "cays" but once the platform and sticks are on there it is hard to access without losening/taking stuff back off. Also, could just be because its the journey sticks, but theyre kind of a pain to get strapped on. Youre holding sticks on both sides of the bag trying to strap across, and in the dark, in the woods its not necessarily a simple task if you dont want to blow out your hunting spots.
Again, i like the bag and maybe its just the system I have but seems like it could be more "economical"
