In July I attended the Mobile Hunters Expo put on by the Fueled by the Outdoors boys in southern Ohio. I told myself more times than you could shake a stick at that I would never go the saddle route, but I went to the expo with an open mind. After trying a few saddles out, I met Weston Schrank, Nick Betts, and the guys at Trophyline and after spending some time at the booth in the Covert Lite, I knew I was not only going to end up in saddle, but that I'd be killing out of a Trophyline come September. 

I was blessed to be the lucky recipient in one of the raffles at the expo for the very saddle kit I planned on leaving with at any cost that weekend, the Covert Lite. 

The freedom allowed by the low profile efficiency of my Trophyline Covert Lite kit has allowed me to kill three deer on public land this year including my first out of state whitetail in Kentucky, and a Pope and Young class buck in Ohio. The ability to go into areas I'd never stepped foot on prior to killing all three of those deer while carrying all my gear with little energy expended and scout until I found a tree to capitalize on, would never have been possible before Trophyline. 

With almost two months of season left to fill my Kentucky buck tag on public land, I rest assured that thanks to Trophyline's focus on comfort, quality and minimalism, I will be able to maintain the energy and focus to grind it out til the end and fill that tag.
