These sticks are incredibly lightweight. I am extremely impressed with them so far. Packing my saddle has never been so much easier and now having my lightest set up yet I continue to figure ways to shed weight. These sticks saved me over 7lbs. Highly recommended. Wish the price was better but I think trophyline knew what they were doing here.
The Design of these pouches is great. Quick and season with limited effort. The Corrections to the saddle work great and the material feels solid. The only issue I had was the Eyelets on the first set I received blew out after a few uses (Still function, only aesthetic). Big props to Trophyline as a brand that stands by their gear, The corrected my concerns immediately. Hats off to them
Just recently order the Nimbus Saddle for the 2025 White Tail season. The materials and build quality seem to be top notch. Perfect setup I can feel comfortable and safe in at the same time. Looking forward to getting into the White tail woods with this thing.
The attachment method seems simple and strong. The material is lightweight and compresses down very small.
Thus far, the only issue I forsee is that because the fabric is so light and thin, the pouch has limited structure. Extra care is needed to stow gear like ropes, as the pouch can collapse some. I intend to add a rigid or semirigid structure to the inside, like a cup.
For design, perhaps some nylon piping on the edges and center might give some needed structure while not adding much mass nor affecting compression while stored away.
I have searched for a long time to find a bag that could comfortable carry my sticks, platform, saddle and extra layers. The search ended with the sumpter. This bag hands down does it all. There is plenty of pockets to organize all my stuff, Plus with the added meat sling I can even pack out my game. Quality is also top notch this thing is durable. As the title states best bag period!
