The attachment method seems simple and strong. The material is lightweight and compresses down very small.
Thus far, the only issue I forsee is that because the fabric is so light and thin, the pouch has limited structure. Extra care is needed to stow gear like ropes, as the pouch can collapse some. I intend to add a rigid or semirigid structure to the inside, like a cup.
For design, perhaps some nylon piping on the edges and center might give some needed structure while not adding much mass nor affecting compression while stored away.
I have searched for a long time to find a bag that could comfortable carry my sticks, platform, saddle and extra layers. The search ended with the sumpter. This bag hands down does it all. There is plenty of pockets to organize all my stuff, Plus with the added meat sling I can even pack out my game. Quality is also top notch this thing is durable. As the title states best bag period!
Light and Rock solid. For me the EDP has set the bar of what I need out of a platform. Checks all the boxes!
