This is a good kit to get started, there are lighter options but it’s a good setup for the money. I did swap the cam buckles with daisy chains after a few uses with the intention of making the setup a bit quieter.

Great platform, it bites into the tree and doesn’t move. I’m able to move around the tree and take a show from 100 deg. It’s a bit heavy but works very well and the beveled edges make it super comfortable

This a platform that will never move on you. Once you set it, it bites into the tree so tight. Its lightweight and easy to carry in on your pack

I really like this platform. I added paracord stitching on riser to quiet the clang when folding up. Rock solid! Love the beveled edges. I feel confident in this as a new saddle hunter. Switched from strap to full bury amsteel. Quiet and easy to use

I used the onyx all last season and I really loved it. Once hung in the tree it felt rock solid and sturdy. I never worried about it slipping or moving. I will continue to use it this year!!!
