This platform has held up well. It takes slealth strips nicely and is very quiet. No creaking so far and levels well. The teeth bite into the tree very very well and make it very secure. They need to re-design the knob for attaching the strap or rope though. The hole in the middle for running amsteel through is too small and needs to just be looped over the button. The grooves in the button are also not deep enough to use a traditional cam strip without it being very close to being able to slide out of the groove and come off the tree. The edges around the button are also quite sharp and need chamfered to reduce the ability to cut and wear on straps and ropes over time. It is very light and good quality, but if you just tweak that button to be bigger and make it a few ounces lighter, this would be a lights out platform
This thing is badass...been playing with it in the yard. Cut more than 2/3 the weight of the small Bear River tree stand I've used for years. Really looking forward to using it the

New to saddles but old dog with tree stands and screw in steps. The mini sticks save so much energy compared to screw- ins. Using homemade 2 step ladders.
Only complaint is those step edges are sharp and must be dulled with a file...drew blood (my own) on 1st use
I run three of them with my set up it fits a lot more than I thought. Seems durable and easy to secure. Good product
If you’re over 6’0, the waist strap will be on your stomach. Even with adjusting the pack, it’s very uncomfortable. I suggest the Eva palisade (no waist strap) or the eberlestock x2 (has waist strap) instead for saddle hunters.
