MINIMALIST - Complete Saddle Hunting Kit

The minimalist, weight savings and agility are your primary concerns. You stay fluid, roll with the punches, and keep moving…this complete saddle hunting kit keeps weight to an absolute minimum with the Platow lumbar/fanny style pack. This allows the recommended platform of the EDP to rest on the shoulders and sticks on the top or bottom of the pack, leaving room for the other to hold your clothing layers. The design of the Platow pack was designed with the intent of not taking the pack off until hunting. Simply reach behind and grab the bundle of sticks once you find your tree, while the platform rides up with you until your at hunting height. The platow also comes with built in "Knee pads", simply buckle the waist band around the tree at the height level with your knees. The minimalist kit rounds off with the next generation of saddle, the Venatic, complete with one pouch and two 8mm Tech Core Ropes. If you want to save weight, and experience an insanely smooth overall saddle system from the get go, this is it.

Complete Saddle Hunting Kit Includes:
  • Venatic Saddle Kit
  • Platow Pack
  • EDP or Wingman Platform
  • Double Step Mini Climbing Sticks

You know you spend over a grand on this awesome equipment that works great and I love it, but you think they at least thrown maybe a sticker or a hat

Minimalist kit

Liked everything but the mini sticks. The teeth on them started twisting after first climb. Tightened them up and they still twist a bit. Have to straighten back out to be able to stack them to pack out

New to the game

This minimalist venatic kit is my first experience with any saddle. I’m an avid bow hunter and the past couple years I’m really getting into hunting public ground here in missouri. I’ve hunted out of climbers pretty much my whole life but you can’t put one of those on every tree. I don’t have that trouble now. There is a learning curve to this that I’m still working out through practice. All in all I’m satisfied with everything. The saddle itself feels very comfortable when your in the tree. Get the bridge and tether set right and you can hang there for hours. Climbing sticks are so light and easy to put up. Ropes and carabiners seem to be of very good quality. If I had to give one negative anywhere the zippers on the pack seem to be a little light weight for me. Other than that I’m completely satisfied with my purchase. If your thinking about getting into saddle hunting this is the way to go
