Really light, really strong. Can pack both ropes in same pouch easy. I consider this an upgrade
I am not one to constantly "upgrade" equipment. Once I find something that fills the need, I concentrate on all the other aspects of the task. Like being more scent free or quieter in the woods. I have carried all four with me on my Sumpter pack late this season more than 2 miles into public over very rugged terrain and once on the tree of choice, they bite hard and feel super strong. 55 years old, 225 lb and I am loving it!!
I have been using a tactical pack for my one-sticking and knew I was missing out as my pack was not "made for" mobile hunting. This pack is very well made, I have not been able to over stuff it yet and with my sticks, platform and other hunting tools, it weighs in at just under 40 pounds. Super comfortable and adjustable in every way. I have not had to pack out any quarters yet as both of my kills this year were close enough to my camp to not require it, but knowing there is a way to pack out as well is comforting. No regrets!!
