    The Onyx is a saddle platform that simply has it all. It is a fusion of our EDP, Mission, and Wingman platforms, and results in perfect size and function. The Onyx contains an Angled Perimeter -  angles on each side of the platform, with built-in non-slip ridges, containing the ideal contact points for foot placement and comfort when leaning, rolling to stand, or turning to shoot your weak side. The Platform also was built with the new Claw Design - a single cast post, standoff, and stomp pad built and integrated together.

    The Onyx is the end of the platform debate, everything you could ever want from a saddle platform.

    Onyx platform is excellent size and weight for comfort and packability. Got this one for the angled edges on 3 sides. Compares with similar feature to CruzR Seeker, but all also on the sides too. Additionally has the top step for “cam locking” in the platform which is a big advantage over others that don’t include. The one thing I don’t care for is any stand/platform that is bare aluminum which I feel becomes obvious in the woods. Easy enough to do a rattle-can camo treatment. Feature rich for a rock solid, versatile and comfortable platform.

    Shipping was fast. The platform is solid and bites to the tree like no other. Over all just messing with it in the yard it seems like it'll be comfortable for those longer sits. My only complaint is y'all didn't send me a sticker 😆

    Love the platform! Very solid. I'm around 200 lbs and once locked in tree it doesn't move. The slight angles are very comfortable on feet. The only modifications I did was camo paint it and used some small pieces of pipe insulation when folded down theirs no metal on metal contact. Used some stealth strips around insulation to hold it on better and is completely silent. Very happy with my purchase. You won't be disappointed with it.

    Gonna preface this review by saying this is the first platform I bought for saddle hunting. The Onyx definitely impressed me and I don't regret purchasing it at all. The attachment method is very easy to use and the platform really bites into the tree when you set it. I wear a size 12 in boots and there's enough room for me to feel comfortable standing upright on the platform. When leaning, the edges of the platform don't bother my feet at all.

    I do feel awkward maneuvering on the platform, but that's probably just because I haven't had enough practice with saddle hunting yet.

    My New Favorite

    This onyx platform is solid as they come , I’m 6-3. 247 lbs size 14 boot and it fits me perfect . I have Cruzr platforms and they move around slightly not always a safe feeling. This onyx digs in the tree and will not move I don’t care what position your in. It does have a slight flex too it but not worried at all it’s a game changer for me !
