Covert lite kit

Ordered the covert lite kit and I've been testing it for the last few weeks. So far the saddle itself is really nice. Lots of adjustability and pretty comfortable. The ropes feel very well made but the sewn eyes ruin these ropes for me. My tether was constantly slipping down so I thought I'll just girth hitch it...nope not with that eye. Best advice I can give is to double up the knot. Also fitting the ropes in the pouches with the big bulky sewn eyes isn't fun. Apparently these kits used to come with 1 small round pouch and 1 zipper square pouch but mine just came with 2 small round pouches. Both pouches are $19.99 so I don't really understand why they wouldn't include one of each, but that's definitely a downside. So I think if I could go back in time I'd just order the saddle, 1 small dump pouch and 1 zipper pouch then just order my linemans rope and tether from somewhere else.

Covert lite.

I’m new to the saddle world. Bought the covert lite saddle kit and the EDP platform. Must say I wished I would’ve switched to a saddle much sooner. Absolutely love my covert. It’s comfortable and makes the treks through the Kentucky hills a lot easier. Recommend it for anybody wanting to get into the saddle/mobile hunting.

I was hesitant about saddle hunting with a lot of question about it actually being better than a stand. The first time testing it out in my yard eliminated all my doubts and concerns. Unless I have some physical reason to I’m not ever going to switch back it’s extremely versatile and once I get everything adjusted perfectly and dialed in it will be way more comfortable and easier.
